avast! 4 Small Business Server Edition

avast! 4 Small Business Server Edition is a special version of avast! antivirus Server Edition, designed exclusively for Microsoft Small Business Servers.

This product provides SERVER PROTECTION ONLY and DOES NOT INCLUDE DESKTOP PROTECTION. For inclusive desktop protection please order our SBS Suite Edition

The avast! 4 Small Business Server Edition can be deployed only on Windows Small Business Servers version 2000 and 2003 (not on the standard Windows 2000 or 2003 servers!!).

Similar to SBS 2003, avast! Small Business Server Edition comes in two versions.

The Standard version contains the following components:

• avast! Server Edition, i.e. the antivirus kernel + file system protection
• avast! Exchange Server plugin, to protect all traffic in the Exchange Server environment

The Premium version contains the following components:

• avast! Server Edition, i.e. the antivirus kernel + file system protection
• avast! Exchange Server plugin, to protect all traffic in the Exchange Server environment
• avast! MS Proxy/ISA Server plugin, to protect the MS ISA Server

All these components are equivalent to our full server side products - their only limitation is that they are restricted to the Microsoft Small Business Server 2000/2003 environment.
